After many tests, we are able to propose several products that can <em>increase advertising revenues<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 style=\"font-size: 20px; margin-bottom:20px;\">How to increase revenue using tech products?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Unlocking AdBlock traffic<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">One of the technological solutions that <strong>can help to increase publishers\u2019 proceeds from online advertising<\/strong> is the monetization of adblock traffic. In recent years, we have seen an increase in the use of adblock in all countries. <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" style=\"color: crimson;\" rel=\"nofollow noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.emarketer.com\/content\/ad-blocking-growth-is-slowing-down-but-not-going-away\" target=\"_blank\"><b>A recent study on this topic shows that adblock is used by 26% of all users<\/b><\/a> (statistics from the US) to even 42% of users (statistics from Poland). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:51px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:40% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/yieldbird.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/emarketer.png\" alt=\"how to increase revenue using technological products\" class=\"wp-image-19361 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the ever-more-frequent use of adblock technologies, publishers, advertisers, and advertising agencies record losses in revenues from online advertising.  This is why solutions have started to appear on the Internet advertising market that are supposed to help monetize the traffic blocked by adblock solutions, without being too intrusive for the users.   <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Also, our experts have tested such a solution \u2013 with our publishers. We used the solution offered by <b><a href=\"https:\/\/blockthrough.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Uponit (now Blockthrough<\/a>!<\/b>). It is a platform whose task is to reclaim advertisements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:23% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/yieldbird.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/0202-Partnerships-02-1024x640.png\" alt=\"how to increase revenue using tech products\" class=\"wp-image-19357 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Using the created technology, the company <b>helps online publishers to measure and restore advertising resources that have been blocked<\/b>, as well as to communicate with users who block ads. Their service is certified by Eyeo (the company that owns the most commonly used adblock).  <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Their technological solution lets through ads that meet the requirements of the <a rel=\"nofollow noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" style=\"color: crimson;\" href=\"https:\/\/acceptableads.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Acceptable Ads<\/b><\/a> program. It is a program created on the initiative of none other than Eyeo, supposed to help publishers, advertisers, and advertising networks to create a new source of monetization, freeing up a part of the blocked area where non-intrusive ads can be displayed with a much more positive reception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The tests have shown us that, thanks to this technology, <b>average revenue increases are in the range of 10%\u201315%<\/b>. Currently, there are many companies on the market that specialize in monetizing this type of ads, such as AdNow, Mgid, Revcontent, Plista, and Taboola. Native ads are displayed differently from classic ads because they are supposed to look as if they were a part of the site. This is why they are not blocked by adblock technologies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:26% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/yieldbird.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/0202-Partnerships-03-1024x640.png\" alt=\"how to increase revenue from online advertising\" class=\"wp-image-19358 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Recently, we have been testing the solution offered by Taboola. It\u2019s one of the largest companies in the world that provides native advertising for publishers who have article content on their websites. Thanks to this solution, publishers can display ads that are non-intrusive for the users and, additionally, get paid based on engagements. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><b>The use of native advertising is primarily intended to help<\/b>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"has-text-color has-normal-font-size has-very-dark-gray-color wp-block-list\"><li>Obtain\nadditional revenue through the promotion of sponsored content<\/li><li>Increase\nuser engagement and keep the user on the site through redistribution of the\npublisher\u2019s articles <\/li><li>Acquire\nnew users by exchanging traffic between other sites of the publisher<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The table below shows what the main objective\nof native advertising is, and what products they use to achieve the publishers\u2019\nobjectives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/yieldbird.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/tabelka-928x1024.png\" alt=\"increasing revenue using technological products\" class=\"wp-image-19480\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">In the case of our publishers, for whom we used the native advertising technology, <b>we recorded increases in daily proceeds ranging from 5% to 15%<\/b>. Most publishers focus on additional revenue and choose the 3&#215;1, 3&#215;2 or 3&#215;3 widgets for testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The chart below shows that Taboola\u2019s share in\nthe revenues is, on average, 5%\u201310%. The share was greater when the traffic on\nthe website was lighter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/yieldbird.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/wykres2-1024x440.png\" alt=\"increasing revenue using tech products\" class=\"wp-image-19482\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:51px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Outstream video ad format<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:51px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:21% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/yieldbird.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/0202-Partnerships-05-1024x640.png\" alt=\"increasing revenue from online advertising using technological products\" class=\"wp-image-19360 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Another solution that we often offer to our publishers is outstream. This is a separate format that includes video advertising, but without the need for the presence of video content. <strong>Why is it worth giving this solution a try<\/strong>?  <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-text-color has-normal-font-size has-very-dark-gray-color wp-block-list\"><li>You don\u2019t need to have video content to enable the displaying of the ad. <\/li><li>It\u2019s a format that has great potential in targeting by buyers.<\/li><li>The advertising unit is not visible to the user until he\/she reaches a specific place on the website (implementation through a hidden break in the site).<\/li><li>The sound of the ad is only activated when the unit is visible on the user\u2019s screen. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Placement on the website has an influence on the results of the out-stream. This solution is recommended between articles, when the user is engaged on the website, thus making the ad visible for longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">In the case of our publishers, we most\noften tested this solution between articles, and, if the website had the\npossibility of longer scrolling, also in the form of a slider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">In the latter case, thanks to the specific nature of the site and the later deals, we managed to <em>increase the revenues<\/em> from 40% to 60%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/yieldbird.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/wykres3-1024x438.png\" alt=\"increasing revenue from online advertising using tech products\" class=\"wp-image-19483\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Summing up<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The online advertising market is constantly changing, and publishers often have to adapt to these changes. Similarly, their approach should change so that revenues wouldn\u2019t have to be increased through mere optimization of AdExchange or other SSPs. Growth can also be very quickly achieved through the ability to select products for the type of website.
