Refreshing done properly, not blindly

A page view normally yields one impression per Ad Unit no matter how long the user stays. Naive timer refresh collapses viewability. Refresher does not.

Best quality

To keep refreshed impressions viewable, ads refresh only when at least 50% of the ad is in the user viewport.

Full control

Target exactly what gets refreshed through an intuitive interface, minimizing the risk of accidentally refreshing direct campaigns or specific Line Item IDs.

Viewable inventory

Refresher takes user behaviour into account before refreshing, so the user is genuinely active and engaged with the content first.

How does Refresher work?

Two steps, running continuously on every enabled Ad Unit.

Monitor user actions

Refresher monitors your Ad Units for viewability, total viewing time, and whether the user is active on the page.

Refresh programmatic ads

A new programmatic auction launches only when the Ad Unit fulfils every refresh criterion, re-running your existing demand.

Quick implementation

Refresher can be up and running within a week, with minimal effort on your side.

Refresh at the optimal moment

Your programmatic ads refresh only when they are genuinely viewable by the user.

Pay only for uplift

We take a revenue share only from the generated uplift, so we make money only when you earn more.

Why Refresher is a perfect fit

Built after extensive market research into what a refresh solution has to protect.

Freedom in configuration

Refresh interval, ad threshold, user-activity gating, and include or exclude targeting, set per Domain and overridable per Ad Unit.

Measurable by design

Every refreshed request is tagged yb_refresh=1 in GAM, so uplift is attributable and the GAM Publisher declaration is covered.

Layout stays untouched

No new placements and no design changes. The same slots simply earn across the whole session.

Always ROI-positive

Our fee comes from the uplift only, so Refresher pays for itself by definition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to provide access to my Google Ad Manager? If yes, why?

Yes, we need access to Google Ad Manager for two purposes: to do the setup (create the necessary key values and Line Items, validate that there are no technical obstacles, and so on, with the exact scope differing per product), and to gather data for performance reporting.

How often do I have to adapt the Yieldbird Tag?

Once you add the Yieldbird Tag, you do not have to change it at all, regardless of changing a product's setup, adding new Ad Units, or testing new products. The Tag implemented during onboarding is sufficient.

I have more than one GAM account. How is it handled?

For each GAM account you get a separate Workspace. Multiple GAM accounts cannot share one Workspace, because of how each product is configured in the Platform.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No. Regardless of which product you use, you can cancel anytime with immediate notice.
