THE TIMES: 13.5pt = 18px paragraph
THE GUARDIAN: 12pt = 16px paragraph
THE ECONOMIST: 14.5pt = 20px paragraph
Our experts recommend font size not smaller than 16px (12pt) and not bigger than 24 or 26 px (18pt – 20pt) for the regular text (paragraph). Why? It’s not only the user experience that you should keep in mind. The font sizes are growing on a rising scale. The readers are less interested in the text and more into the picture. Making the font size bigger, the publisher can keep their attention for longer.
